Cathy Piche is the Vice President of Network Project Delivery and Design and Construction at Crown Castle. In this role, she is responsible for end-to-end customer and schedule management, as well as, the design and construction of small cells and fiber networks across the United States. As an NYSE S&P 500 and Fortune 500 company with an enterprise value of approximately $85b, Crown Castle is building the solutions that deliver long-term value for our customers, communities, and investors.
Cathy joined Crown Castle in 2011, and has grown the team, tower and small cell portfolio to provide full wireless solutions for our customer. Previously, she was responsible for the operations, growth and profitability of the tower and small cell portfolio in the East area for Crown. She is most proud of the strong commitment to customers and that this mindset runs throughout her entire organization. Cathy began her career in the wireless industry in 1996, working in numerous site development roles for Sprint and AT&T Wireless, including the initial build-out and launches for Nashville, Chicago and Houston. She joined American Tower in 2001 as a National Project Manager in Atlanta. Over the next decade she served in a variety of increasing leadership roles, from Area General Manager for the Midwest Area to Area Vice President of the Midwest and finally to Vice President of National Accounts. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political economy from the James Madison College at Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Urban Planning and Architecture from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She has taken additional executive coursework at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Management. She’s committed to serving both her professional and personal communities. She currently serves as a board member for the By Your Side Organization (an autism speech language center) in Chicago, IL, and the Florence Crittenton Home for Women in Charlotte, NC. Previously, she served on the board for the Illinois State Wireless Association, and as Director for Women in Wireless. |
